I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1994 from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. I also hold a Master of Social Services degree (clinical social work) from Bryn Mawr College.
Since 1994, I have specialized in the assessment of learning disabilities, dyslexia, and ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults. I have presented regionally and nationally on topics related to learning disability assessment and treatment. My background also includes experience as a teacher and tutor of students with learning disabilities.
I use a competence-based approach which focuses on helping people identify and use their strengths to compensate for problem areas. I am a member of the American Psychological Association and a Fellow of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association.
