About Me

Finding your own voice can be a life-changing experience. My mission as a psychologist is to help you access your own inner wisdom and use it to create a life that is satisfying and rewarding (and fun!) for you.

I received my master's degree in social work from Bryn Mawr College in 1987, and my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Miami in 1994. My clinical training included working with clients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The first part of my professional career focused on assessment of students with learning differences. Since 2006, I've specialized in outpatient psychotherapy with adults.

I'm a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and I'm also certified through PSYPACT, an interstate consortium which permits qualified psychologists to practice in selected states in addition to their home state. (To find out whether your state participates in PSYPACT, click here.)

My approach to therapy differs from that of many other mental health professionals.  Rather than focusing on diagnostic labels and fixing what's "wrong" with you, I'll work with you to identify what's missing in your life and how to find more of that by building on what's RIGHT with you. We'll work together to help you build the life you want.
